INDONESIA VISA REQUIREMENTS (FROM DHAKA)

📅 STEP 1: Embassy Appointment

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Dhaka has introduced an online appointment system (effective from 4 January 2026).

👉 Applicants must book an appointment online:

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Walk-in visa applications are permanently closed
• Appointment system is already active—apply in advance
• Recommended: Apply at least 2 months before travel

📄 BASIC DOCUMENTS

• Passport
  • Original + photocopy
  • Minimum 6 months validity
  • At least 2 blank pages
• Personal Details
  • Full Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Contact details
• Photographs
  • 2 copies passport-size
  • White background
  • Taken within last 3 months
• Travel History
  • At least 1 previous travel record (max 10)
  • Covering last 5 years (in table/list format)
• Proof of Funds
  • Minimum USD $2000 (≈ BDT 2.5 Lac)
  • Bank statement (last 3–6 months)
  • Bank solvency certificate
  • ✔️ Include original bank cheque
  • ✔️ Include copy of a blank cheque page
• Flight Ticket
  • Confirmed booking
  • At least 30 working days before submission
• Hotel Booking
  • Confirmed reservation with email proof
• Cover Letter
  • Mention purpose of travel
• Travel Insurance
• Letter of Declaration
  • Provided by ShareTrip

💼 FOR BUSINESS VISA APPLICANTS

• Business invitation letter + inviter’s documents
• Updated Trade License
  • If in Bangla → must include notarized English translation
• Company details (contact, email, website/profile)
• 2 copies of business pad
• Memorandum of Articles (if ownership not mentioned)
• Visiting card
• TIN Certificate

👨‍💼 FOR JOB HOLDERS

• NOC / Employment letter
• Office contact details & company profile link
• Office ID card (both sides)
• Visiting card
• TIN Certificate

🎓 FOR STUDENTS

• Student ID card
• NOC from school/college/university
• If applying alone → must include father’s documents

🏠 FOR HOUSEWIVES

• Must provide husband’s documents

📑 OTHER SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

• National ID (NID)
• Marriage certificate (if traveling with spouse)
• Birth certificate (for child/infant)

⏳ PROCESSING & VALIDITY

• Processing Time: ~30 days (may vary)
• Visa Type: Tourist (Sticker Visa)
• Validity: 3 months
• Entry: Single entry
• Stay Duration: Maximum 60 days

🌐 IMPORTANT: DIGITAL DECLARATION

All foreign visitors entering Indonesia (by air, land, or sea) must complete a Digital Declaration Form:

• Must be submitted within 3 days before arrival
• Online registration is mandatory before travel
